Trenton Mitchell Interns with FCWO

Farm Credit Biostar

Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma

Marketing and Communications

Trent Mitchell is working as a FCWO summer intern. Trent grew up on a diversified crop and livestock operation in Texhoma, OK.  Trent enjoys leadership responsibility and held a number of leadership positions while attending Texhoma High School; namely President of the National Honor Society (NHS), President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes,President of his Senior Class, an active member of the FFA, and served as Captain of both his high school football and basketball teams. Trent graduated as Valedictorian of the class of 2021 and furthered his education at Oklahoma State University where he is pursuing BS in Agribusiness with a minor in Finance. Trent is an active student at OSU. He is employed as a data analyst at Tiger Drug in Stillwater and serves on the Men’s Leadership Team at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry.

Trent has worked throughout his life on the farm/ranch and is blessed to be a fourth-generation farm kid. While Trent is familiar with the on-farm labor intensive-side of agriculture, furthering his experience through this Farm Credit internship has been an opportunity that Trent doesn’t take lightly. “Gaining additional agricultural finance knowledge of what goes into the banking industry and the Farm Credit System is an exciting opportunity,” said Trent. His future aspirations are simply to be able to benefit the growth and preservation of agriculture in any way he can. Trent centers his life on God and is blessed to be in preparation to wed his fiancé, Savannah, this upcoming fall.
