Investment, Not a Donation
Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture's New Building
"We view it as an investment, not a donation," said Greg Livingston, CEO of Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma. Referring to the support that the FCWO Board of Directors chose to give to the new Ferguson College of Agriculture at Oklahoma State University.
"Most of our current employees walked the halls of the "Old Ag Hall. They are products of an incredible program," Livingston said. "Our board thought it was important to invest in not only the future of agriculture, but the future team members of this Association."
Together, with Oklahoma Ag Credit and American Ag Credit, we sponsored a media wall that will be seen by anyone who enters the building and will provide important and timely information to students and of course feature Farm Credit.
In addition, FCWO sponsored a classroom in the new building. This classroom will be used for many purposes, but all have one connection and that is cultivating young minds.
Whether it is a future customer or a future employee, we can see the importance of investing in the next generation of agriculturalists.
